Sadly, all good things come to their ends. As our trip came to a close, we had a meal at a restaurant close to the Radisson, watched the Cruise ships and then packed our bags for home.

But, if plans work out as we hope, this was not a 'good-bye'. Instead, it was a 'see you later.' There are several mysteries and wonders Belize still has to offer. And we now know our way there and back again. Most importantly, it's the attitude. As the saying goes in Belize,

"No shirt,

no shoes,

no problem!"

Jet, an interesting little guy, runs the Airport bar. He can serve up some dangerous rum punch. The line is a bit of a hassle, but the ambience of this little treasure in a hole in the wall of the airport is worth it.

A Traveller's Palm. Water collects in the middle fan and will stay there for long periods of time, a marvellous plant. This is not native to the area, however. This was brought in from the Mid-East. Another little tidbit of information from Israel.  That guy knows his stuff.
